Film and TV Post-Production Intern

Three-month internship at the production company of award-winning independent filmmaker. 10-14 hours per week, remote and in-person at our office in Tribeca. These internships offer both practical training in post-production as well as a significant educational component, including working on exciting, high-level projects, learning alongside accomplished industry professionals, and exit interviews to help craft your career strategy going forward. $100 stipend provided upon completion.

Responsibilities
-Working alongside professional editors
-Editing promotional clips, trailers, social media content

-Syncing video and sound materials

-Brainstorming color and sound choices

-Giving post-production notes on entire production slate

-Researching and presenting trends in post-production

-Attending meetings with post team

Qualifications A strong interest in film and TV is required, with preference given to candidates who have a sharp eye for detail and a strong understanding of the post-production process. We look for people who are organized, collaborative, and comfortable working with footage, edits, notes, and research at a high level, and who want to contribute to an active slate of issue-driven comedic and dramatic narrative content. We are busy at our company, so being able to stay organized, communicate clearly, and deliver high-quality work on deadline is also very important.
