Making Our Culture More Inclusive and Affirming Seattle's Indigenous Heritage Acknowledgement Race, Equity and Social Justice About The Position The Theater Operations Assistant Manager works with the Theater Operations Manager to maintain necessary communication channels, as well as successful operational and logistical execution for the Theater Operations department during the 2024 Seattle International Film Festival. Festival House Managers SIFF Volunteers Primary Roles and Responsibilities Working with the Theater Operations Manager, coordinates good communication workflow within and on behalf of the entire Theater Operations team Maintains internal communication systems such as Filemaker, Slack, Gmail, Google Drive, etc. Assists other constituents within Operations as needed. Demonstrated commitment to racial equity Desired Excellent customer service skills Ability to perform well in a stressful situation Ability to stay focused and ensure completion of tasks Ability to lead and motivate a diverse and changing/rotating team Ability to ensure a pleasant patron, volunteer, and staff experience Experience using Filemaker Pro/Ticketing systems a plus SIFF believes in an equitable hiring process This is a temporary full-time, hourly position This is an FLSA overtime non exempt position (Overtime rates are 1.5x hourly rate) Employees have access to discounts and passes to year-round and Festival programming This position is not eligible for health or other benefits Work Environment: This temporary position will work onsite at our Seattle office and specified theater/s.
