About the project:
is a character-driven black comedy exploring identity, gender, and mental health through the lens of a heteronormative relationship that has all the ingredients to work out, but simply doesn't. Think a strange blend of Marriage Story with 𝘚𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 that insists on a 𝘉𝘶𝘳𝘯 𝘈𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 vibe.
Primarily targeting Sundance, Telluride, and SXSW (splitting the difference sensibility-wise). Team's past project "Afraid of Tomorrow" received a Best Picture nomination at Cannes Short Film Festival. 19 minutes, shot in 6K. Emmy-winning composer.
