Who We Are

CoolVu Salt Lake is a premium window film and glass security solutions company serving commercial and residential clients across Salt Lake and Utah counties. We install solar control, safety, security, decorative, and specialty films — including advanced security glazing systems for high-stakes commercial environments.

We are a member of the International Window Film Association and we hold ourselves to IWFA standards on every job. We represent a premium brand and we expect our team to represent it the same way — in their work quality, their appearance, and their client interactions.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced window film installer who knows the trade and can hit the ground running. You will work alongside our lead installer on commercial and residential jobs across the Salt Lake area. We are not looking to train someone from scratch — we are looking for someone who already takes pride in their craft and wants to do it in an environment that matches their standards.

This is a full-time, on-site role. You will be in the field daily, working on a variety of film types and job sizes. You report to the Lead Installer and work closely with the full install team.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do

Install solar, safety, security, decorative, and specialty window films on commercial and residential job sitesMeasure, cut, and apply films accurately and efficiently to a professional finishClean and prep surfaces properly before every installation — no shortcutsStage and prep jobs the day prior — materials ready, tools loaded, scope reviewedPerform quality checks throughout and at job completion to IWFA standardsInteract professionally with clients on-site at all timesTrack film usage and update job records accuratelyUpload sign-off documentation and after photos at job close-outMaintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle cleanlinessSupport the lead installer and contribute to a high-functioning crew

Additional Information
Compensation & Incentives

Base Pay: $18–$32/hr depending on experience and skill level

Quality Incentive: $0.50 per square foot (up to $300/day) split between team members when jobs meet IWFA standards with no callback

Client Referral Commission: 3-10% on leads directly attributable to you

IWFA Certification Stipend: $100 per certification achieved, exam fees covered

We pay more for people who deliver more. Your earnings grow with your skill and your accountability.
