Executive Director

The Little Art Theatre seeks to fill the position of a full time Executive Director. The Executive Director serves as the chief operational and strategic leader of the Little Art Theatre, a nonprofit, single-screen cinema dedicated to film, arts programming, education, and community engagement. The Executive Director works in close communication with the Board of Directors, and committees to advance the mission of the Little Art Theatre – to provide an experience that entertains, informs and inspires. We believe in achieving financial stability to ensure a long future as the heart of YS - where we are more than a movie theatre, everyone is welcome, and generations create memories…connections happen, memories are made.We aspire to be a board that resonates with the community, inspiring a love of the arts in YS and beyondWe desire to share the Little Art Theatre as a “third space” providing connection, ownership, and personal experience through artists, films and other art forms.Key Responsibilities Board Development: Support the board in identifying skills gaps,and assist in implementing accountability tools like the RACI matrix for good stewardship.Impact Reporting: Implement monthly progress reporting to keep the board informed on strategic KPIs and financial benchmarks.Visionary Leadership: Ensure that every resource allocated today serves the theater's "North Star," guaranteeing it remains a resilient community treasure for decades to come.Requirements: 3 to 5 years nonprofit or business management experience with strong financial management, fundraising, and communication skills.
