Casting "Exam Room," a student film from a true story. Setting is a medical exam room/MD office. Synopsis: Short (5 minutes) scene is between a female patient who is deeply grounded in human potential/transformational world and her (male or female) physician, a top neurosurgeon. Patient was diagnosed with fatal brain cancer (usually fatal in 6 months) and has been through surgery, radiation and chemo and is now 3 years beyond diagnosis. Now meets with her physician for follow up after her most recent scans. Scan is clean and she asks if she is disease free. Physician states that he/she would never say that to someone with her diagnosis. Confrontation/discussion between patient and physician of the healing process that lies beyond medical science.
