Event Staff

The Event Staff team at The State Theatre is a group of hard-working, highly motivated individuals who support day-of-show operations, including bar and concession sales. Events range from concerts with national touring artists to movies, rentals, and private events.As the first faces guests see upon arrival, Event Staff serves as ambassadors of The State Theatre, creating a welcoming, organized, and safe environment for everyone, from attendees to touring artists.What You'll DoPrepare and set up for eventsWelcome guests, check tickets, and manage will-callOperate ticketing and POS systems for concessions and bar salesServe food, beverages, and alcoholic drinks responsiblyProvide friendly, attentive customer service throughout eventsMaintain clean and organized work areas during and after eventsAssist with merchandise salesAnswer questions and resolve guest issues professionallySupport post-event cleanup and venue resetWhat We’re Looking ForExperience or interest in live events, music, film, or entertainmentBackground in hospitality, bar service, or customer service preferredStrong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitudeAbility to work in fast-paced, high-traffic, and loud environmentsFlexible availability, including evenings and weekendsMust be 21+ and able to obtain RAMP Server/Seller training (training provided by the theatre)SchedulePart-time hours vary week to week based on the event calendar.
