Wire circuits as directed.Receive direction from supervisor and job instructions from Electrician A and Electrician B on fairly complicated and high voltage work.Work from wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, floor layout and work orders.Troubleshooting and Repairing: (Using sophisticated electrical measuring and testing instruments)Sensors and Control CircuitsElectrical motors and drivesPower Transmission SystemsPacking SystemsHydraulic & Pneumatic SystemsInstall and maintain or repair complex automatic electrical and electronic controls.Establish and install equipment for secondary distribution centersTear down complex units, determine extent of difficulty, repair or replace defective components and wiring.Repair and replace defective armatures and field coils.Respond to emergency power failures and diagnose difficulties.Prepare wiring diagrams as required.Provide training to lower classification of Electricians as needed.Fabrication:Guarding and related safety devicesControl panel mounting and installationDetect faulty equipment and report to necessary supervisor.SafetyMust follow all safety policiesPerforming safety inspections on electrical components and electrical systems.
