The California Film Institute's Education Department is seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized individual to join our team as an Education Coordinator during the Mill Valley Film Festival (MVFF). This short-term, contract-based role will support the planning, coordination, and execution of our education programming for the festival, working closely with our Education Director and Education Manager. Assist with outreach to schools and organizations across the Bay Area Support the creation and distribution of promotional and informational materials Assist with MVFF Education events, receptions and screening throughout the festival Experience in event or program coordination, preferably in arts, education, or filmExceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsComfort with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), and basic database toolsFamiliarity with Cinesend or other digital screening platforms is a plusAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyExperience working with schools or educators is a bonusAvailability weekdays and weekends during festival dates
