Director of HR Business Partnerships in Film

We are seeking an experienced HR leader to act as a strategic partner for our Film team. As the Director of HR Business Partnerships, you will provide insightful guidance, coaching, and strategic support to the Chairman of Netflix Film and their leadership team. Your contributions will be vital in developing and executing a cohesive talent strategy and vision that evolves over time. This role involves organization design, compensation strategies, employee development, talent density, and inclusion efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the implementation of strategic talent initiatives in culture building, organizational development, talent management, and inclusion and diversity. Inspire and influence through a collaborative leadership style, earning the trust of leaders who seek your expertise. Develop effective leaders to build strong teams, promote empathy, and enhance the capabilities of a diverse workforce. Navigate through change and ambiguity while maintaining excellence in operations, proactively addressing challenges before they arise. Analyze data to uncover insights and drive impactful business decisions while effectively communicating findings to stakeholders. Demonstrate curiosity about the business and organization, embracing both strategic and hands-on work. Communicate clearly and effectively, providing context and clarity in your messages. What We Are Looking For:

15+ years of progressive HR experience, showcasing a strategic mindset along with a hands-on approach. 5+ years of experience in the Film industry or supporting film teams in studios or related environments. Preferred: Understanding of the production cycle and experience supporting production teams. Preferred: Experience in mentoring and coaching HR professionals. A dynamic HR leader with a collaborative spirit, able to inspire action and creatively solve problems. A proven track record in developing leaders, fostering strong teams, and enhancing a diverse workplace culture. Ability to lead through change, maintaining operational excellence while navigating complexity. Strong skills in both quantitative and qualitative analysis, capable of translating data into compelling narratives. Exceptional expertise in overseeing strategic talent initiatives across various disciplines. Ability to thrive in a complex, matrixed, global organization, with experience as an HRBP for client groups in various locations. This role is based in our Los Angeles offices.

The compensation structure is primarily salary-based, without bonuses, and provides flexibility in choosing between salary and stock options. The salary range for this role is $430,000.00 - $775,000.00.
