Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Direct-to-Film (DTF) Production Technician to operate and maintain our DTF printing equipment while ensuring consistent, high-quality production. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in producing excellent work.

Responsibilities

Operate Direct-to-Film printers and curing equipment.
Prepare artwork for printing and verify print files before production.
Load film, ink, and adhesive powder into equipment.
Monitor print quality and color accuracy throughout production.
Perform daily printer maintenance and cleaning.
Troubleshoot minor printer issues and report major problems.
Cut, organize, and label completed transfers.
Maintain inventory of films, inks, powders, and other production supplies.
Keep production area clean, organized, and safe.
Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
Communicate with the graphics and production departments regarding job status.
Follow production schedules and prioritize rush orders when necessary.
Assist with heat pressing DTF transfers when required.
Inspect finished products for defects before delivery.

Qualifications

Previous DTF printing experience preferred (training available for the right candidate).
Experience with printing equipment is a plus.
Basic computer skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational skills.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to multitask in a production environment.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods.
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Frequent bending, reaching, and moving throughout the production area.
Comfortable working around production equipment and machinery.

Preferred Skills not needed

Experience with RIP software.
Knowledge of color management.
Basic understanding of Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW.
Experience operating heat presses.
Knowledge of garment decoration processes.
