The ideal candidate will have experience in narrative film production, live video production, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve, as your primary focus is instructing the next generation of video and film professionals. Key Responsibilities Teaching film and video production and post-production concepts in a dynamic, engaging format Inspiring and supporting students with a "hands-on" and active approach as they progress through the courses Teaching practical hands-on methods for using cameras, grip and lighting equipment, and production audio hardware Focusing on student creativity to achieve high-quality results with both group and independent video projects Fine-tuning the curriculum as directed and contributing to the creation of engaging lesson plans Creating a safe, supportive, creative, and dynamic environment for students Recommended Requirements Professional experience with Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects Professional knowledge of Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve Working knowledge of Blackmagic and RED digital cinema camera systems Production experience related to lighting, cinematography, and field audio Deep passion for mentorship and helping others of all learning types Passionate about inspiring, mentoring, and helping others learn Flexible schedule Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
