Casting actors for lead and supporting roles in "Deuce," an Emerson College short film. Logline: This is a contemplative short film and character study about invisibility, mortality, and the human need for recognition, following Hugo, an aging tennis umpire who makes a desperate choice to be seen.
Production states: "The project is a short film written by Dylan Keith Humphrey. At just 21 years old, Dylan Keith Humphrey, a globally recognized advocate, brings a powerful firsthand perspective on what young people need to feel seen, supported, and heard. He is a believer in the power of storytelling as a tool for connection, healing, and change. As the co-founder of Fourddo (four-dee-do), a creative media organization, he and his sister have served thousands by spearheading national campaigns and initiatives in mental health, activism, and the arts—partnering with organizations like Nike, KIA Motors, Macy's, and No Kid Hungry. Collaboration is at the forefront."
