Helen has always had her hands in the dirt. She studied plants and plant medicine, teaching at a local university and being recognized by the bio community. Helen had three miscarriages before the birth of Sorraine, named after her mother, Lorraine. Rain was her "Wednesday child," always reminding her of life's true sorrow. Stricken with early onset cancer, in her last days, Helen’s only desire was to become one agin with the earth.
