Company Description Her House Media is an independent film and media company dedicated to producing impact-driven stories written and directed by women of color. As we prepare for the community premiere of our debut feature film, DOUEN, we're looking for a Creative Producer Intern who is excited to help build not only the launch of a film, but the future of an independent media company committed to meaningful storytelling and community impact. About the Internship This is an unpaid fellowship designed for someone who is eager to gain hands-on experience in independent filmmaking, creative producing, marketing, and community engagement. What You'll BringWe're looking for someone who already has a foundation in creative production, communications, marketing, or filmmaking and is ready to apply those skills in a real-world environment. Assist with the marketing campaign for DOUEN leading up to the community premiere.Coordinate social media content across platforms.Support media outreach and PR efforts.Research and connect with community organizations, universities, and potential partners.Help recruit and coordinate volunteers for the November 1 community screening.Maintain project organization and assist with day-to-day production needs.Update and maintain the DOUEN website (or coordinate with a web designer).Edit short-form video and promotional content when needed.Assist with sponsorship outreach and event logistics.Jump into whatever needs doing on any given day.
