CINEMA ASSISTANT

Projection of films:Set up and adjust picture projectors and screens to achieve proper size, illumination, and focus of images, and proper volume and tone of sound.Monitor operations to ensure that standards for sound and image projection quality are met.Observe projector operation in order to anticipate need to transfer operations from one projector to another.Start projectors and open shutters to project images onto screens.Must have ability to speak in front of audiences with ease.Must be able to effectively and efficiently promote upcoming programming in front of an audience.Expected to effectively house manage for special events, assisting patrons with finding seats and any other issues that may arise. Excellent eyesight and manual dexterity.Excellent customer service skills; must be a very good communicator and have the ability to work with guests, clients, and other team members.High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical school training, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in related field a plus.Excellent communication skills; verbal, written and interpersonalAbility to professionally interact with people, issues, and in emergencies.
