Cincinnati 48HFP City Producer

The 48 Hour Film Project celebrated its 25th anniversary in<\/b><\/span><\/span> <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>2025<\/b><\/span><\/span>.<\/b> The competition challenges teams to create a short film within 48 hours, using a randomly assigned genre, character, prop and line of dialogue.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/div> <\/div>The <\/span><\/span>48HFP city producer position<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/i> is a great opportunity for someone who would like to gain valuable experience running a worldwide film competition and festival, organizing exciting and extraordinary events and screenings for filmmakers, making contacts and helping to cultivate the local film community and being a key component of one of the largest and most respected network of filmmakers and producers around the world.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/div><\/span> Requirements<\/h3>The producer position has flexible hours that can supplement your existing employment or freelance work. A successful candidate will have the following qualities:<\/span><\/span> <\/div>excellent organizational and communication skills<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>previous festival and/or event planning experience<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>creativity and problem -solving skills<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>knowledge of technology including email, social media, Zoom, Dropbox, Microsoft Word or similar software<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>determination to put in time and effort to making the 48HFP a great event for local filmmakers<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>existing network of personal and professional contacts with groups, businesses and individuals in the film, media and arts communities<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li><\/ul>Desired but not required:<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/div>experience in film and photo editing<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>experience in the independent film/media industry<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li><\/ul>Expectations<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span> <\/div>The producer's duties may include, but are not limited to:<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/div>organization and on -site management of all events related to the local competition including Kickoff, Drop -off, Premiere Screenings, "Best of" Screenings, awards program and networking events<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>instigating outreach to individuals, film groups, professional organizations, arts groups, educational facilities, as well as creating and discovering new opportunities for recruiting participants<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>effectively communicating with participants and team leaders to ensure everyone adheres to all 48HFP rules, regulations and standards<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>responding quickly and regularly to all 48HFP headquarters' emails, Zoom, phone calls and regular meetings<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>using 48HFP email lists, social media accounts and other tools carefully and concisely<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>soliciting and securing local sponsorship<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>maintaining finances by following budgetary guidelines and recording accurate financial records<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li><\/ul> <\/div>Team up!<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/div>Co -producers are welcome and can be an asset to your production team.
