Casting a NYSCA supported short narrative film in collaboration with the Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute. The film follows Lazaro, an emerging architect, father and husband who has fully assimilated to a high profile life in Manhattan. A major set back in his firm allows him to cross paths with an aging and overworked subcontractor, Arturo, who was his former Babalawo (spiritual leader/teacher) in their hometown in Cuba. They reconnect through a dinner that conjures their repressed feelings post migration and a supernatural deity that alters their reality.
