3M Window Film Distributor looking for a Trainer to help us educate our dealer network on expert installation techniques and maintain customer relationships within a geographical area. In this role, we seek outstanding window film and paint protection film installation skills. We expect you to be an excellent communicator who can comfortably instruct a class of up to 6 people. If you are also technically minded, computer savvy, and detail oriented, we’d like to speak with you!
Develop training curriculum for all specified training classes/programs:
AWF Installation
PPF Installation
VCC/Wrap Installation
Training classes will be audited throughout each year to adapt and consistently have up-to-date installation techniques with new product launches and/or product changes.
Conducting/Instructing training classes on the field and/or at Accent Training Facilities
New Product Testing:
Provide manufacturers we partner with feedback on prototype films (films not currently in market) on technical and construction aspects of the film(s) during installation process. Helps with development on new products coming to market in the future.
Provide tool manufacturers we partner with on feedback with new tools coming to market to demo and /or show in training classes in help installers in the field.
Technical Guidance to Accent Dealer Network:
Provide our dealer network/installers with technical advice on film installation and techniques, installation tools, product knowledge, and cutting/plotting software
Plotter support/setups:
Training team is responsible for plotter equipment in the field, responsibilities include:
Plotter equipment setup/breakdown
Service maintenance and repair
Trainer/Technical Support must understand how to fully operate/service/maintain plotter equipment
Equipment Audits in the field
Pattern Editing/Designing:
Training team is tasked with new pattern capturing/designing/editing when new vehicle models come to market. We work with software companies to assist with patterns in cutting software (AWF, PPF)
Assist Territory Managers:
We work closely with our territory mangers to assist our dealer network with any technical advise/questions, product demos, and help with sales when needed
Assist Office/Warehouse staff:
Training team is sometimes tasked with helping office/warehouse staff when needed and also opening/setting up new warehouse/office locations.
Experience:
Training/ instructor experience a plus
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Education:
High school or equivalent (Required)
