Theater Managers are responsible for managing festival operations at their assigned venues. This position reports to the Managing Director, with support from the Festival Logistics Manager. Key Responsibilities Assisting the Theater Manager in all areas necessary to run festival operations at the venue Making sure every show runs smoothly Be the eyes and ears for the Theater Manager Assist with volunteer management, providing instruction and assistance as needed Check-in and out volunteers as needed Assist with managing lines for patrons Enforce festival policies Filling in for other roles when necessary Provide excellent customer service to all patrons Other duties as assigned Qualifications Enthusiasm for the festival and dedication to excellent customer service Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Cool under pressure, able to roll with the punches, and adapt to the unexpected Exceptional communication skills. Ability to effectively identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and proactively develop alternative solutions.
