Description Summer Assistant Manager OpeningWeekend and Night availability required About the RoleMovie Tavern is looking for a motivated, guest-focused Front of House Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations and deliver an outstanding entertainment and dining experience. Previous theater and/or Aloha POS experience is preferred but not required. ResponsibilitiesAssist in managing all front-of-house operations, including guest services, ushers, box office, concessions, and bar/dining serviceLead, coach, and motivate front-of-house team members to deliver exceptional customer serviceHandle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues quickly and effectivelySupport hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and training of staffEnsure cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards are maintained throughout the theaterMonitor labor costs, staffing levels, and daily operational performanceEnforce company policies, safety standards, and alcohol service guidelinesAssist with inventory, cash handling, and end-of-shift reportingWork closely with kitchen and theater management teams to ensure smooth operations during peak business hoursHelp drive sales through upselling, promotions, and creating a welcoming guest atmosphereQualificationsPrevious management or supervisory experience in hospitality, restaurant, entertainment, or retail environments preferredStrong leadership and communication skillsExcellent customer service and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environmentFlexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 poundsFood Handler or TABC certification preferred (if applicable)What We OfferCompetitive payOpportunities for growth and advancementFun, team-oriented work environmentEmployee movie and food discountsPaid trainingHealth and benefits options for eligible employees
