‘Almost Trying’ Indie Film Casting Supporting Role in Tennessee

Smoky Mountain Pictures LLC is casting the role of Todd for the independent feature film 'Almost Trying,' filming in Sevier County, Tennessee.

Todd is an irritated tourist who remains convinced that his customer-service complaint is the most important issue in the room — even while something considerably more serious unfolds around him. It's a grounded comedic supporting role that calls for strong character work and the ability to play absurdity with sincerity.

You'll portray Todd throughout the film, delivering an irritated and self-focused character performance while reacting naturally to increasingly chaotic circumstances. You'll take creative direction and work professionally with the ensemble cast.

This role is open to male talent between the late 30s and early 50s. You must have strong comedic and character acting skills, be comfortable performing absurd situations with sincerity, and be at ease with strong language and adult humor. You must be available to work in Sevier County, Tennessee.

This is a paid role. Rate varies by role.
