I'm a traveling adventure filmmaker and social media influencer, and I'm looking for a local Oahu-based shooter/editor to help film various adventure and travel videos starting the week of March 23rd and ongoing.Who I'm Looking For:A storyteller – Someone who knows how to craft compelling narratives through video.A confident director – You can give direction to talent and crew, ensuring each shot tells a strong visual story.An outdoor adventurer – Experience (or love for) climbing, kayaking, rappelling, trail running, camping, and water sports is a huge plus.A versatile shooter – You’re comfortable filming in both controlled and unpredictable outdoor environments.An editing pro – You can turn raw footage into engaging, cinematic content.Tasks Include:Pre-production planning – Writing scripts, creating storyboards, shot lists, and redlining scripts.Filming & directing – Shooting high-quality video and photos in both indoor and outdoor locations.Setting up gear – Lighting for indoor/outdoor shoots and handling audio equipment for talent.Editing & post-production – Using Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, Photoshop, After Effects, and Audition to create stunning, polished content.Social media savvy – Understanding how to create content optimized for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.Required Skills & Equipment Proficiency:Expert-level Adobe Creative Suite skills (Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Lightroom, Photoshop, InDesign).Experience with Canon cameras & gimbals (Ronin, Zhiyun, etc. ).Strong understanding of lighting, audio, and action sports filming.Ability to adapt & troubleshoot in dynamic outdoor filming conditions.Position Details:Pay: $25/hrLocation: Must be local to Oahu and available for in-person shoots starting March 23rd and beyond.Ongoing gig – Opportunity for long-term collaboration on travel & adventure shoots.To Apply: Send an email with your portfolio, website, and video links showcasing your best adventure-based work.If you love adventure, storytelling, and capturing cinematic moments in epic locations, let’s work together to create some amazing content!Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, ContractPay: $25.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftWork Location: On the roadAre you looking for more jobs nearby?
