is seeking hard-working, organized, and detail-oriented assistant to fill a role in the Acquisitions department. The interns will work one-on-one with a small team and will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in every aspect of film distribution and sales, from acquisition to post-theatrical release. Acquisitions: • Coverage of potential acquisitions • Keeping up with industry trends & curating daily internal news bulletins • Researching new projects and updating our database • Database entry This position is paid on a bi-weekly basis at the rate of $16.90/hr. While previous experience in film is a strong asset, the ideal candidate possesses a love for independent and foreign language film and a desire to learn more about the business.
