Seeking a dedicated 1st AC for an upcoming independent short film, a psychological thriller with strong dramatic elements, exploring themes of memory and reality. We're aiming for a dark, intimate visual style, which means precise focus pulling will be critical in creating the right tension and mood. Ideally, you'll have some basic experience with camera assisting roles, even if it's just student film work, and a general understanding of camera systems (we'll be shooting on a Blackmagic Pocket 6K Pro). A basic reel or a list of projects you've worked on is helpful. Days will be 10-12 hours.
