Thompson is a 17-year-old sprinter who spends his evenings at his mom's hospital bedside and his nights alone on the track, chasing faster times. On race day, his memories of her catch up with him mid-sprint. I'm a high school filmmaker in NYC, and I'm making this film that's inspired by my close friend.
